Gwangju City Creates 'Welfare Facility Sharing Forest' in Hansarang Village
Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Bang Se-hwan) announced on the 13th that it has created a 'Sharing Forest for Welfare Facilities' at Hansarang Maeul, a social welfare corporation located in Sinwol-ri, Chowol-eup.

The Sharing Forest, covering a total area of 1,605㎡, consists of an experience garden and a walking trail, designed as a space where residents using wheelchairs can enjoy nature and communicate.
In particular, the experience garden and walking trail were constructed without level differences using soil, concrete, and rubber chip paving, and a resting pergola was installed. A total of 9,593 trees and shrubs, including pine trees, zelkova trees, and azaleas, were planted.
A Gwangju City official stated, "We hope that the Sharing Forest will improve the quality of life and happiness pursuit of Hansarang Maeul users and serve as a resting space for local residents."
