BNK Gyeongnam Bank Donates 2,240 Boxes of Love-Sharing Kimchi to Changwon Special City
Creating a Warm Year-End Atmosphere
Changwon City in Gyeongnam announced on the 13th that it donated 2,240 boxes of kimchi for kimjang (worth 90 million KRW) at BNK Gyeongnam Bank as part of the 2024 year-end Love Sharing Project.
The kimchi donated on this day will be delivered to 2,240 low-income households to help neighbors in need have a warm winter.
Ye Kyung-tak, President of Gyeongnam Bank, said, “Despite the difficult economic situation, we prepared the kimchi sharing event with the hope of providing even a small help to marginalized neighbors in the region. BNK Gyeongnam Bank will continue to fulfill its role as a reliable partner of the local community and steadily practice sharing and coexistence.”
Hong Nam-pyo, Mayor of Changwon, said, “I am grateful to BNK Gyeongnam Bank, which never fails to show interest and support for neighbors in need. We will make sure that the donated kimchi becomes a warm and happy side dish for the neighbors.”
