This event was organized to analyze and diagnose the results of the 'Advancement of Social Services' project, one of the current government's national tasks, and to seek future response measures, with about 200 attendees including five autonomous districts of Gwangju, service providers, and employees of the Gwangju Social Service Institute.
Since the second half of last year, the Ministry of Health and Welfare has been providing daily care services to middle-aged adults (aged 40-64) and family care youth (aged 13-39) who need care due to illness or isolation as part of the advancement of social services. In Gwangju, as of October this year, the budget execution rate increased by 42.5% compared to the previous year.
At the performance report meeting, presentations such as the 'Validity Verification Study of User Selection Criteria' and the 'User Satisfaction Survey Research on Regional Autonomous Social Services' were held, along with capacity-building training for field workers.

Kim Dae-sam, Director of the Gwangju Social Service Institute, said, "Recognizing the flow of changes in social service policies by the Ministry of Health and Welfare is essential even in welfare fields," and added, "This performance report meeting is expected to serve as a foundation for daily care services to establish themselves as a pillar of care."
