At the 'Into the Future: Superteam Korea' event held on the same day in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, organized by Superteam Korea and Presto, An said, "It is about onboarding talent into the Web3 field." Onboarding refers to the process of helping new people adapt to a new environment or system.
The event was held as a networking party to celebrate the launch of Solana's Superteam Korea. Superteam is an organization that professionally invests in the blockchain ecosystem. It operates in 13 countries including Japan, India, Germany, Turkey, Vietnam, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
An likened the Solana ecosystem, a Layer 1 (L1) blockchain, to a "city." He emphasized, "If a company is a centralized organization, then L1 is more like a city," adding, "Blockchain is not a company but a community, a city, a country, and a cultural organization."
He continued, "Web2 models focus on user growth, but Web3 has producer growth," emphasizing, "Producers consist of founders and apps, and thanks to them, the Solana ecosystem was able to grow very rapidly and the company grew into one valued at billions of dollars."
Typically, while Web2 focuses on increasing the number of users, Web3, conversely, emphasizes the growth of producers. The Web3 ecosystem is structured so that developers, content creators, and validators contribute to the platform and receive rewards.
