Yuwon Golf Foundation Fully Supports Dream Tree Development
Jang Yu-bin generously donated 40 million won in scholarships for junior players.
The Yuwon Golf Foundation announced on the 10th, "Jang Yu-bin delivered the scholarship on the 3rd," adding, "The entire sponsorship fund will be used to nurture young golf talents." Jang Yu-bin, a scholarship student from the Yuwon Golf Foundation's regional golf talent program, has won twice and finished runner-up five times this season on the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) Tour. Having grown into a flagship player of the KPGA, Jang Yu-bin will join LIV Golf next year.
Lee Je-young, a member of the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour, also donated 10 million won in scholarships to the Yuwon Golf Foundation on the 7th, raised together with her fan club. Sung Yu-jin, who competes on the U.S. Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour, will deliver 10 million won in scholarships in January next year, accumulated with her support group. Lee Je-young was selected for the professional golf player support program in 2022 and received training expenses, while Sung Yu-jin was chosen as a scholarship student at the Golfzon Red Better Academy (GLA) in 2017 and received various sponsorships.

The Yuwon Golf Foundation was established in 2015 by Kim Young-chan, chairman of Golfzon Nudin Group, who gathered personal funds to foster elite golfers and develop the golf industry. Since its launch, the foundation has raised about 11.3 billion won to support young golf talents and advance the golf industry. Approximately 1,000 players have benefited from the foundation.
