KOSPI Recovers Above 2400 on Foreign and Institutional Buying... KOSDAQ Up 3%
The KOSPI rebounded strongly on buying from foreigners and institutions, reclaiming the 2400 level. The KOSDAQ is rising more than 3%.
As of 9:31 a.m. on the 10th, the KOSPI recorded 2405.36, up 1.90% from the previous trading day.
By investor type, individuals are net sellers with 125.4 billion KRW. Meanwhile, foreigners and institutions are net buyers with 24.6 billion KRW and 89.9 billion KRW, respectively.
By sector, textiles and apparel rose 4.47%. In addition, chemicals, construction, steel and metals all jumped more than 3%, with most sectors showing gains.
Among the top market capitalization stocks, Samsung Electronics is trading at 53,900 KRW, up 500 KRW (0.94%) from the previous trading day. Hyundai Motor and Kia also rose more than 3%. Additionally, Celltrion, KB Financial Group, and Korea Zinc increased more than 2%. On the other hand, Shinhan Financial Group and SK Hynix are showing slight declines.
The KOSDAQ recorded 649.74, up 3.63% from the previous day.
By investor type, individuals are net sellers with 112.7 billion KRW. Meanwhile, foreigners and institutions are net buyers with 85.9 billion KRW and 29.4 billion KRW, respectively.
By sector, other services rose 5.24%. Construction, entertainment, and culture sectors jumped more than 4%. Meanwhile, publishing and media replication are in slight decline.

Among the top market capitalization stocks, Alteogen traded at 304,000 KRW, up 19,000 KRW (6.67%) from the previous trading day. Rigachem Bio surged 8.79%. Additionally, Pharma Research rose more than 7%, and Hugel increased more than 5%. HLB is in slight gains, with most of the top market capitalization stocks trending upward.
