China Launches Investigation into Nvidia for 'Antitrust Law Violation'
American company Nvidia, a global leader in artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductors, is set to undergo an antitrust investigation by the Chinese government.
On the 9th (local time), according to China Central Television (CCTV) and others, the State Administration for Market Regulation of China announced that it has launched an investigation into Nvidia on suspicion of violating the Anti-Monopoly Law of the People's Republic of China.
Nvidia is suspected of violating the announcement of the decision by the State Administration for Market Regulation, which had conditionally approved the acquisition of Mellanox.
