POSCO held the 'Gwangyang Startup Concert' inviting startup CEOs at Baegun Art Hall in Gwangyang Steelworks over two days on the 7th and 9th, aiming to foster a venture-friendly atmosphere in the local community.
The Startup Concert is part of POSCO's 'Gwangyang Venture Valley' project, which is being promoted to create a startup-friendly ecosystem in the Gwangyang area. It is designed to share successful cases of prominent venture entrepreneurs with local residents and prospective founders, and to spread a venture-friendly atmosphere throughout the community.

Kim Mincheol, CEO of Yanadoo, who gave a lecture on the 7th, started his first job as an arcade cashier earning a monthly salary in the 200,000 won range after moving from Busan to Seoul during his childhood. Having launched over 20 startups in various fields such as lunchboxes, shopping malls, and cafes, he distinguished himself as an entrepreneur. He achieved success with the founding of 'Yanadoo' and is now renowned as a self-made startup CEO.
In his lecture, CEO Kim shared his entrepreneurial story and secrets to success, gave a leadership lecture on what startup CEOs should uphold, and held an impromptu Q&A session with attendees to address the usual questions from citizens and prospective entrepreneurs.
Lee Miso, CEO of 'Bat Jusikhoesa', who is scheduled to speak on the evening of the 9th, started her entrepreneurial journey at the young age of 23. Despite numerous failures, she never stopped challenging herself. As a result, the ‘Chuncheon Gamja Bread’ she developed became a local specialty and gained nationwide popularity, making her the owner of a company with annual sales exceeding 20 billion won.
During this Startup Concert, outstanding startup ideas submitted in advance will be selected, and prizes such as Apple Watches and AirPods will be awarded, providing an opportunity to discover promising startup items.
