Gwanak-gu Operates 'Consulting Architect' Desk for Architecture-Related Matters to Provide Trusted Architectural Administrative Services

Gwanak-gu (District Mayor Park Jun-hee) is protecting residents' property rights and providing trusted architectural administrative services through the operation of the specialized consultation desk for architecture, ‘Sangdam Geonchuksa’ (Consulting Architects).
The district operates the ‘Sangdam Geonchuksa’ desk to make it easier for residents who experience inconvenience due to the inability to receive architectural legal consultations because of cost and time issues to get advice.
The consulting architects, composed of 38 members of the Gwanak-gu Architectural Society, are stationed within the district office and provide residents with extensive consultations on architecture, including ▲Architectural Law ▲Construction processes and procedures ▲Building management ▲Consultations on illegal buildings.
From January 2024 to the present, a total of 283 consultations have been conducted, with the majority of inquiries related to illegal buildings and changes in building use.
Residents who received consultations expressed satisfaction with being able to solve their difficulties through free professional architectural advice.
Architectural consultations are held at the Architecture Department office on the 6th floor of Gwanak-gu Office from Monday to Friday, between 1:30 PM and 5:30 PM.
Any resident wishing to receive consultation can visit the Architecture Department at the district office in person or call during the hours to receive free consultation.
