On the 3rd, former Minister of National Defense Kim Yong-hyun, who was accused of charges including insurrection related to President Yoon Suk-yeol's declaration of martial law, was urgently arrested on the 8th.
According to the legal community on that day, the Special Investigation Headquarters for Martial Law under the prosecution (headed by High Prosecutor Park Se-hyun) interrogated former Minister Kim, who voluntarily appeared, from 1:30 a.m. and then urgently arrested him, seizing his mobile phone.
Afterwards, former Minister Kim was transferred to the Seoul Eastern Detention Center.
