Councilor Oh had raised concerns about the paper and vinyl compressor breakdown accident that occurred during the Center's trial operation at the Administrative Audit of the Environment and Transportation Bureau held on the 2nd.
Councilor Oh stated, “A machine made of heavy iron chunks broke down during work. Upon inspecting the work environment exposed to the risk of human injury at the site, the situation appeared much more serious. It is a great relief that no human injuries occurred,” and added, “Thorough inspection of the machinery and prompt measures to ensure the safety of the work environment must be taken to prevent such accidents from recurring.”
On that day, Councilor Oh carefully inspected the site for over two hours together with responsible officials, on-site personnel, and Seo-gu Council professional advisors and policy support officers, and held a meeting to identify the cause and resolve the issues. The meeting contents were shared with the Seo-gu Council members.
