Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Expresses Gratitude to the Korea Senior Citizens Association Mapo Branch for Efforts in Senior Welfare
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, attended the '2024 Korea Senior Citizens Association Mapo-gu Branch Work Evaluation Report Meeting' held on the morning of December 6 at the Abis Hall in Catertle (23 Baekbeom-ro, Mapo-gu).
The event, held to express gratitude for the efforts of exemplary senior centers and to share the results of the Korea Senior Citizens Association Mapo-gu Branch's projects so far, was graced by about 160 participants including senior center presidents and branch executives.
The program of the day included the reading of the Senior Citizens' Pledge, a greeting from Branch President Hwang Han-gyu, congratulatory speeches from guests including Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, awards for exemplary senior centers, and the 2024 project report.

Mayor Park Gang-su of Mapo-gu said, "I would like to express my deep gratitude to the branch president and officials of the Korea Senior Citizens Association Mapo-gu Branch, as well as the senior center presidents, who have actively worked for better welfare for the elderly," adding, "Next year, Mapo-gu will continue to work hand in hand with the Korea Senior Citizens Association Mapo-gu Branch to ensure the healthy and happy later years of our senior citizens."
