Icheon-si Opens Integrated Support Center for Heavy Snow Damage
One-Stop Support for Damage Reporting, Loans, and Tax Consultation
On the 5th, Icheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it will operate the 'Heavy Snow Damage Integrated Support Center' to promptly assist in the recovery from damage caused by the heavy snowfall at the end of last month.
The Integrated Support Center includes officials in charge of agriculture, livestock, and emergency recovery, as well as participants from the Icheon Tax Office, NongHyup, Livestock Cooperative, National Health Insurance Service, and National Pension Service. Through this, they provide ▲damage complaint reception and recovery consultation ▲recovery fund loans ▲damage insurance consultation ▲guidance on tax and national pension payment deferrals.
The city explained that as of 6 p.m. on the 3rd, a total of 1,587 damage cases had been reported due to the recent heavy snow, with the reported damage amount estimated at approximately 32.5 billion KRW.
