Seoul Women's University Appoints Professor Lee Yoon-sun of Educational Psychology as 10th President
The educational foundation Jeongui Academy announced on the 5th that it has appointed Professor Lee Yoon-sun of the Department of Educational Psychology as the 10th president of Seoul Women's University.

View original imagePresident Lee received the most support from professors, staff, students, and alumni in the presidential candidate election held from the 25th to the 27th of last month. The term of office is four years, starting from March 1 of the following year.
President Lee graduated from Seoul Women's University and earned a master's degree from its graduate school, followed by a doctoral degree from the University of Washington in the United States. After joining Seoul Women's University as a professor in the Department of Educational Psychology in 2008, she held key administrative positions such as director of the Barom Character Education Research Institute, dean of student affairs, director of administration, and director of planning. Since last year, she has served as the head of the Data Innovation Office directly under the president, establishing a data-driven decision-making and management analysis system.

President Lee stated, "I will strengthen the identity of Seoul Women's University and enhance the university's distinctiveness and competitiveness through education specialized for women," adding, "Through mutual cooperation and co-growth with the local community, we will establish the university as one needed in the new era."
