On the 2nd (local time), the Billboard Music Awards announced through their official social media (SNS) that Seventeen will perform at the awards ceremony held on the 12th in Los Angeles, USA.
Seventeen is scheduled to showcase the stage for the title track "LOVE, MONEY, FAME" from their 12th mini album at the ceremony.
The Billboard Music Awards is considered one of the three major American popular music awards ceremonies, alongside the Grammy Awards and the American Music Awards.
This year, Seventeen is competing for the 'Top K-pop Touring Artist' category at the BBMAs. From July last year to January this year, Seventeen held their world tour "FOLLOW" 20 times across 9 cities.
According to Billboard's Boxscore semiannual report released last June (covering October 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024), Seventeen attracted over 52,000 attendees across 18 performances.
The ticket sales amounted to $67.5 million (approximately 93.4 billion KRW), ranking 16th. Seventeen achieved the highest ranking among K-pop groups.
Previously, Seventeen was selected as 'Best Group' at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards. They also swept domestic and international music awards, including winning five awards at the 2024 MAMA Awards, including two grand prizes, drawing attention to whether they will continue their momentum at the BBMAs.

Currently, Seventeen is successfully conducting their Japan dome tour. They thrilled 90,000 fans at the Vantelin Dome Nagoya on the 29th and 30th of last month, and will continue meeting their Carats (fan club name) at Tokyo Dome on December 4-5, Kyocera Dome Osaka on the 12th and 14-15th, and Fukuoka PayPay Dome on the 19th and 21-22nd.
