The Eurozone unemployment rate in October remained steady at 6.3%, the same level as the previous month.
According to Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union (EU), the Eurozone unemployment rate in October was 6.3%. This figure is unchanged from the previous month (6.3%) and 0.3 percentage points lower than October last year, when it was 6.6%. It is also 0.1 percentage points below the market expectation of 6.4%.

The number of unemployed decreased by 3,000 compared to September, reaching 10,841,000. The youth unemployment rate for those under 25 rose slightly from 14.9% in the previous month to 15%. Among major countries, Spain had the highest unemployment rate at 11.2%, followed by France at 7.6%, and Italy at 5.8%. Germany recorded the lowest unemployment rate at 3.4%.
