On the 2nd, major Hong Kong media reported that President Xi will visit Macau to attend the 25th anniversary celebration of Macau's return on the 20th. Xi is expected to inspect the Hengqin Guangdong-Macau Deep Cooperation Zone.
The 25th anniversary celebration of Macau's return will also serve as the inauguration ceremony for Sam Hou Fai, the 6th Chief Executive of Macau. To this end, Guangdong Province and Macau are enhancing security measures related to the event.
Zhuhai City, adjacent to Macau, will prohibit low-altitude and low-speed flights of drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles in the area of Zhuhai and the Hengqin Guangdong-Macau Deep Cooperation Zone from 0:00 on the 14th until 24:00 on the 22nd. Tourism on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, a sea bridge connecting Macau, Hong Kong, and Zhuhai in Guangdong Province, will also be suspended until the 22nd.

President Xi attended the 20th anniversary event of Macau's return in 2019.
