View original imageOn the morning of the 3rd, some areas in Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to experience early winter weather as temperatures drop below freezing and strong winds blow.
According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration on the 2nd, Gwangju and Jeonnam were generally clear and relatively mild for winter weather that day.
However, from the 3rd, temperatures will drop significantly, resulting in cold weather. In most areas, temperatures will fall sharply, and with strong winds blowing at around 55 km/h, the wind chill will make it feel even colder.
The morning low temperatures are expected to be -1°C in Damyang and Hwasun, 0°C in Yeongam, 1°C in Gwangju, Suncheon, and Yeonggwang, 2°C in Haenam and Muan, 3°C in Gwangyang, Mokpo, and Wando, and 4°C in Yeosu. The daytime high temperatures will range from 11°C in Gwangyang, 10°C in Suncheon and Yeosu, 9°C in Wando, 8°C in Haenam, 7°C in Gwangju, Muan, Mokpo, Naju, and Hwasun, to 6°C in Damyang.
Sea waves will be 1.0 to 2.0 meters in the southern sea and the front sea of the West Sea. Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' in Gwangju and Jeonnam.

A Gwangju Meteorological Administration official said, “Due to temperature changes, there may be places where ice forms in Gwangju and Jeonnam, so please take care in managing crops.”
