Grancoleos 15,000 Units in Two Months... Renault Drives November Sales
Over 90% Purchase Hybrid Models
The mid-size sport utility vehicle (SUV) Grand Koleos, launched by Renault Korea, drove Renault's November sales by selling more than 15,000 units in about two months since its release.
Renault Korea announced on the 2nd that it sold a total of 15,180 units last month, with 7,301 units sold domestically and 7,879 units exported. This represents a 235.6% increase compared to the same month last year.
Domestic sales increased by 289.4% compared to the same month last year. The Grand Koleos accounted for 90.2% (6,582 units) of total domestic sales. Most of these were hybrid models (6,082 units). Since its launch on September 9, it recorded cumulative sales of 15,912 units in 54 business days. Hybrid models accounted for 96.3% of the sales.
Meanwhile, domestic sales of the QM6 were 350 units, down 66.2% compared to the same month last year. The coupe-type SUV Arkana sold 309 units, a 10.7% decrease from the previous month. The SM6 and commercial vehicle Master Van sold only 39 and 21 units, respectively.

Exports also increased. A total of 7,879 units were exported, a 197.5% increase compared to the same month last year. Arkana exports reached 6,743 units and QM6 exports 1,136 units, increasing by 223.4% and 115.6%, respectively, compared to November last year.
