Professor Bang Yoon-yi from the Department of Nursing at Gyeongbok University received the Excellent Paper Award in the nursing and medical fields at the '2024 Joint Academic Conference.'
Gyeongbok University announced on the 2nd that Professor Bang Yoon-yi's paper titled "The Impact of Disaster Awareness and Attitudes of Nursing Students on Their Willingness to Participate in Disaster Response" won the Excellence Award at the joint academic conference held last month at Mokwon University.
Professor Bang stated, "In modern society where the frequency of disasters is increasing, disaster response education for nursing students is not optional but essential," adding, "I hope this award serves as an opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of strengthening disaster response preparedness capabilities in the nursing field."
