Hanam City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Hyun-jae) announced on the 2nd that it held the ‘Christmas Tree Cultural Event - Tree Lighting Ceremony’ at Misa Cultural Street on the 30th, providing citizens with a warm year-end.
Hosted by the Hanam Christian Council (President Pastor Lee Chang-soo) and supported by Hanam City, the event featured ▲ a 10m large tree lighting (smart LED blinking method) ▲ a thanksgiving service ▲ congratulatory performances.
Before the lighting ceremony, pre-event performances such as church busking were held, and the thanksgiving service provided a time to reflect on the meaning of Christmas.
The tree installed by the Hanam Christian Council used a smart LED blinking method, allowing the splendid and colorful tree to change its appearance frequently, offering fresh sights to the citizens.
After the tree lighting, congratulatory performances by singer ‘Maeumgwa Maeum’, male vocal trio ‘Romanomdeul’, Hanam Children’s Cultural Foundation musical team, and brass ensemble ‘Raon Brass’ followed, providing citizens and visitors with an enjoyable and warm time.
