Nongshim Operates K-Ramen Experience Store at Gimhae Airport... "First Domestic Airport"
Experience the Chapagetti Photo Zone and Hangang Ramen Eating for Brand Interaction
Nongshim announced on the 2nd that it has opened a K-Ramen experience store at Gimhae Airport in collaboration with Korea Airports Corporation and CU convenience stores. This is the first time a space has been created at a domestic airport where instant ramen can be cooked and eaten on-site.
The Nongshim K-Ramen experience stores are set up at one location each in the international and domestic terminals of Gimhae Airport and are scheduled to operate until June next year. Gimhae Airport accounts for nearly half (7.28 million, 48%) of the 15 million international passengers using seven regional airports, making it a hub with a high proportion of overseas arrivals and departures.
In the international terminal, a mini pop-up store designed with the concept of a 'Jjapagetti Snack Bar' is introduced. It operates a 'photo zone' where visitors can take pictures with the Jjapagetti characters 'Jjaseu' and 'Olli,' and a 'slow mailbox' that sends postcards written on-site sharing travel impressions. Additionally, instant meals such as Jjapagetti collaboration kimbap and hamburgers released by CU convenience stores are sold along with Nongshim ramen and beverages.
In the domestic terminal, the space is organized as a 'CU Ramen Library' where customers can enjoy bagged ramen. Thirty types of Nongshim products are available. Customers can purchase eggs, kimchi, and kimbap to accompany their ramen according to their preference. An unmanned sales system has been introduced.

A Nongshim official said, "We focused on the fact that it has been difficult to access K-Ramen at airports amid the recent continuous increase in domestic and international tourists," adding, "We created this space through collaboration so that passengers using Gimhae Airport, a key airport in the Yeongnam region, can enjoy ramen."
