West Sea Coast Guard Agency Selects Best Ship and Police Substation
Honors for P-98 Ship in Yeosu and Bukhang Police Substation in Mokpo
The West Sea Regional Coast Guard Agency selected six outstanding units (four patrol vessels and two substations) out of 59 patrol vessels and 25 substations under its jurisdiction on the 28th.
According to the West Sea Regional Coast Guard Agency, the selected outstanding vessels and substations achieved high scores based on major performance results and various training programs, evaluated through quantified objective indicators.

View original imageAmong the large vessels, the Yeosu Station's vessel 1007 was honored, the medium vessel was Mokpo Station's vessel 513, and the small and special vessels were Yeosu Station's P-98 and Wando Station's P-57, respectively. Mokpo Station's Bukhang Substation and Wando Station's Wando Substation were selected as outstanding substations.
Among the outstanding vessels and substations, after committee review, Yeosu Station's P-98 and Mokpo Station's Bukhang Substation, which showed the most excellent performance, were selected as the West Sea Regional Coast Guard Agency's best vessel and substation and were awarded.
These vessels and substations received high evaluations for their outstanding achievements in mission performance and leadership this year. In particular, the P-98, selected as the best vessel, was chosen for the second consecutive year following last year.
