Elderly Job and Social Activity Support Project Evaluation Contest Held

View original imageOrganized by the Cheongsong Senior Club (Director Hwang Jin-ho), the event was attended by over 4,100 elderly participants in the senior job program, divided into morning and afternoon sessions, providing an opportunity to reflect on their activities throughout the year.
The event began with a silver dance performance by the 'Apple Girls,' followed by awards such as the county governor's commendation to honor exemplary participating seniors. Attendees also united in chanting slogans and singing songs to pledge continued active participation, drawing attention.
Notably, continuing from the previous year, some participating seniors donated their precious activity funds as scholarships for students in Cheongsong-gun, adding special significance to the occasion.
This year, Cheongsong-gun provided quality jobs and supported social participation for 4,087 seniors through the Senior Job and Social Activity Support Project. The county also achieved remarkable results, being selected as the best local government nationwide for two consecutive years in the senior job project evaluation hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
