Suspicion of Collusion with Service Contractors
Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Requests Investigation by Prosecutors
Prosecutors have conducted a search and seizure operation at the Jincheon National Training Center for National Athletes in connection with allegations of corruption in the sports sector.
The Criminal Division 6 of the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Lee Sang-hyuk) sent prosecutors and investigators to the Jincheon Training Center in Chungbuk on the morning of the 28th to seize related materials.
Earlier, the Korea Sports Council signed a service contract worth 7 billion KRW with a company in February last year for the management of the training center facilities.
