Emart announced on the 28th that it will hold a large-scale discount event called 'Star Sale' to celebrate its 31st anniversary. The event, which will be held from the 29th of this month to the 5th of next month, will focus on discounts mainly on fresh foods and daily necessities.
First, popular meat products will be offered at special prices. Emart has prepared 300 tons, which is the usual monthly sales volume, for this anniversary event. However, stores in the Jeju region are excluded from this discount.
In addition, all branded Korean beef items will be discounted by 30% when paying with event cards, and native hen baeksuk (1050g) will be sold at 8,988 KRW with a 40% discount when accumulating Shinsegae Points. This planned product uses Jeju large flounder weighing around 3kg.
Seasonal strawberries will also be discounted. From the 29th to December 1st, all strawberry products will be discounted by 5,000 KRW when accumulating Shinsegae Points for three days. A representative product, Seolhyang strawberries (500g, pack), will be sold at 11,900 KRW after a 5,000 KRW discount from the regular price of 16,900 KRW. Emart has discovered new farms nationwide and secured 80 tons of strawberries in advance. This is about four times the amount of strawberries sold in the week before the anniversary event.
From the 29th to December 1st, a weekend special will be held where major food items and daily necessities can be purchased at half price to celebrate the weekend. Representative items include popular processed foods for winter. ▲ All refrigerated udon for two servings ▲ All Dongwon and Ottogi dim sum ▲ 10 popular frozen Chinese food products such as CJ Bibigo and Gourmet will be discounted by 50% when purchasing two or more items per category. Elastine hair products, hand wash, lip care, kitchen towels, and others will also provide a 50% discount benefit when purchasing two or more items within each category.
For the year-end, wine and food for home parties will also be discounted. First, a wine clearance sale will be held, offering 3000 types of wine worth 19 billion KRW.
