The CAMPUS Asia-AIMS project team at Pukyong National University (Director Jeong Beop-mo) held the ASEAN Student Invitation Joint Curriculum 'Busan-ASEAN A to Z Camp' over two days on November 15 and 16.

View original imageThis program organized by Pukyong National University included 36 students from seven countries?Malaysia, Myanmar, Brunei, Vietnam, Brunei, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines?representing Busan University of Foreign Studies, Yonsei University Mirae Campus, and Sookmyung Women's University.
Participants experienced a special lecture on ASEAN expertise titled 'Connectivity between Busan and ASEAN' by Jeong Beop-mo, Director of the CAMPUS Asia-AIMS project at Pukyong National University. They also toured the ASEAN Culture Center, Nurimaru APEC House, and the UN Memorial Cemetery, engaging in tourism programs linked to Busan's tourism industry and social enterprises, as well as exploring social economy and fair travel, while participating in exchange activities.

The CAMPUS Asia-AIMS project is a Ministry of Education-supported initiative aimed at fostering cooperation between countries through the revitalization of education among Korea and ASEAN nations. Since being selected for the second phase of the project in 2021 following its initial selection in 2019, Pukyong National University has operated specialized programs within the Department of International Regional Studies, focusing on International Development Cooperation and International Studies, cultivating talents in Korea-ASEAN language and culture-based tourism, trade, and international development cooperation.
