BPA Wins Global No.1 'Grand Prize' at 2024 LACP Spotlight Awards in the US

Platinum Winner, Global Top 100, Best In-House Triple Crown Achieved

Following the Prime Minister's Commendation for Sustainable Management, Achieving Recognition Abroad as Well

Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Kang Jun-seok) was honored with the Grand Prize (Platinum) at the 2024 Spotlight Awards hosted by the League of American Communication Professionals (LACP) in the United States, achieving the world's top score for its 2023 Sustainability Management Report published last May.

The LACP Spotlight Awards is a prestigious international competition that evaluates sustainability management reports and annual reports from organizations and companies worldwide, selecting outstanding reports. This year, over 500 reports competed.

BPA received perfect scores in five of the six evaluation categories?Report ▲First Impression ▲Content ▲Design ▲Clarity ▲Recognition?earning a total of 99 points and ranking first among all participating organizations and companies globally. BPA was named Platinum Winner, included in the Global Top 100, and awarded Best In-House, achieving a triple crown.

Since 2021, BPA has published its sustainability management report annually, engaging in various activities to spread the ESG management culture throughout the Busan Port ecosystem through communication and cooperation with stakeholders. In recognition of these efforts, BPA received the Prime Minister’s Commendation for Sustainability Management Merit in 2023.
