Professor Lee was honored with this award at the recent Korean Society for Composite Materials academic conference and general meeting in recognition of his outstanding achievements in the field of energy and electrochemical composite materials and his contributions to industrial development.
The Korean Society for Composite Materials has been awarding the Technology Award annually since 2005 to outstanding researchers who have contributed to the advancement of composite materials technology.
Since 2019, Professor Lee has served as the society's International Cooperation Director and Chair of the Carbon and Fiber Division, contributing to the development of the composite materials field. He has also focused on developing various organic and inorganic nano-composites and research on electrochemical energy applications.

Meanwhile, Professor Lee is currently dedicated to advanced research areas such as structural energy storage devices, electrochemical catalysts for green hydrogen production, and 4D printing technology for solar thermal steam generation.
