Lee Suk-ja, Chairperson of the Seoul Metropolitan Council's Steering Committee (People Power Party·Seocho 2), received a plaque of appreciation from the Seoul Insect Industry Research Association on the 19th.
On this day, Chairperson Lee was recognized for her contributions to the development of the insect industry in Seoul and received the plaque of appreciation awarded by the Seoul Insect Industry Research Association from the director of the Seoul Agricultural Technology Center.
Chairperson Lee has been dedicated to promoting healing agriculture, expanding the base of the insect industry as a new growth engine industry, and disseminating eco-friendly digital agricultural technologies to revitalize sustainable agriculture.

Chairperson Lee stated, "At the meeting with officials from the Seoul Agricultural Technology Center and the Insect Industry Research Association, I pledged to continue to take an active interest in and support related projects such as citizen agriculture revitalization and the dissemination of eco-friendly agricultural technologies through the Seoul Metropolitan Council," and requested the expansion of projects including the training of insect industry professionals.
