On the morning of the 20th, Oh Seung-rok, the mayor of Nowon-gu, attended the 'Love Kimchi Sharing Event' held in front of the lobby of the district office.
The event was hosted by the Nowon-gu Saemaeul Association and about 30 people participated, including the Saemaeul Association chairpersons, Saemaeul Women's Association members, and council leaders. The kimchi will be delivered to multicultural families and local facilities through the Saemaeul Women's Associations of each neighborhood, bringing warm comfort to neighbors during the winter season.
The kimchi consisted of a total of 575 boxes of 10kg kimchi (worth approximately 50 million KRW), which is 275 boxes more than last year. The recipients include 30 multicultural families, 30 boxes for small-scale facilities for the disabled, 195 boxes for other welfare facilities, and 320 low-income households selected through 19 neighborhood community centers.
