Gyeongbuk Technopark Holds 'Smart Manufacturing Innovation Support Project Briefing'

Gyeongbuk Technopark held a 2025 Smart Manufacturing Innovation Support Project briefing session for the Gyeongbuk region on the 20th at Daegu EXCO.
As part of the '2025 Smart Manufacturing Innovation Support Project' announced by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups on the 7th of last month, information was provided on ▲Government General Smart Factory ▲Autonomous Factory Construction ▲Digital Collaborative Factory ▲Smart Meister Utilization Support Project ▲Gyeongbuk-type Smart Factory (Basic Type) Support Project, along with consultation booths for demand companies.
On this day, many related personnel from Gyeongbuk manufacturing companies, including companies wishing to build smart factories, suppliers, and expert committee members, also attended.
The 2025 Smart Manufacturing Innovation Support Project can currently be applied for through the Smart Factory Project Management System, with the application deadline set for January 6, 2025.
Companies wishing to participate in this project can receive consulting support through the Gyeongbuk Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center, enabling successful project implementation together with experts and suppliers in related fields.
In particular, the Gyeongbuk Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center has received the highest grade ‘Excellent (S)’ for five consecutive years in the smart factory dissemination project performance evaluation and was selected as the planning institution for autonomous factories in 2024.
Ha In-seong, President of Gyeongbuk Technopark, said, “We continuously support the strengthening of competitiveness of manufacturing companies in Gyeongbuk Province and will do our best to support the advancement of the smart factory ecosystem in the Gyeongbuk region and to lead the smart manufacturing sector as a planning institution.”
