Cheongdo-gun Neglects 502 Rural Vacant Houses... "Efficient Maintenance and Utilization Plan"
Cheongdo County (Governor Kim Hasu) held the final report meeting for the vacant house survey service on the 20th at the county office's first conference room, attended by about 30 people including Governor Kim Hasu, heads of related departments, and the service provider.
Cheongdo County conducted a vacant house survey for eight months after signing a business agreement with the specialized institution Korea Real Estate Board (President Son Taerak) to identify the status of vacant houses and address the increasing problem of vacant houses each year.

View original imageAt the final report meeting for the vacant house survey service, the survey results confirmed that there are 502 vacant houses in the Cheongdo area, with 151 houses classified as Grade 1 (usable), 321 houses as Grade 2 (management target), and 30 houses as Grade 3 (maintenance target).
Based on the results of this vacant house survey, Cheongdo County plans to establish a vacant house maintenance plan for 2025 to efficiently maintain and utilize vacant houses.

Governor Kim Hasu of Cheongdo County stated, “We will do our best to systematically and efficiently maintain and utilize rural vacant houses by recycling vacant houses and creating new residential spaces, thereby improving living conditions.”
