Pyeongtaek City Innovation Club 'Sohaengseong' Performance Presentation Contest Held
Top Award for 'AI-Based Research on Improving Efficiency of Civil Complaint Services'
On the 19th, Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it held an awards ceremony for the innovation club 'Sohaengseong 5th Generation' performance presentation competition on the 15th at the comprehensive situation room, attended by heads of departments and major division chiefs.
'Sohaengseong' means 'Small administrative changes lead to success.' Since 2020, the city has been operating an innovation club annually to support active innovation activities by public officials and to create a foundation for an organizational innovation atmosphere.

View original imageThis year, the innovation club, composed of 10 teams, conducted various research activities over the past six months, including benchmarking best practices, surveys, and case analyses to discover innovative ideas for city administration.
The city explained that, as a result of the final evaluation, the 'Catch All' team won the grand prize for their study on 'Improving the Efficiency of Civil Service Based on AI.' The excellence awards were given to ideas for ▲installing public laundromats and ▲creating public indoor playgrounds. The encouragement awards were selected for ▲creating a manual for responding to foreign visitors' civil complaints, ▲saving energy in government buildings, and ▲introducing a smart parking system in public parking lots.
