Jung Eun-bo Chairman Attends WFE Annual General Meeting... Promoting 'K Value-Up'
Reappointed as an APAC Board Member Last September
Meeting with Exchange Representatives from Thailand, Turkey, and Others
Jung Eun-bo, Chairman of the Korea Exchange, will attend the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) Annual General Meeting held in Malaysia to promote the 'Corporate Value-Up Program.'
The Korea Exchange announced on the 18th that Chairman Jung Eun-bo will depart on the same day to attend the '63rd WFE Annual General Meeting' held from the 19th to the 21st in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Established in 1961, the WFE is a consortium where regular exchanges from around the world participate as members to discuss agendas related to the global exchange market.
At this meeting, CEOs from over 80 exchanges worldwide will gather to share key issues surrounding the global capital market, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual assets. Additionally, they plan to discuss directions for mutual cooperation among exchanges of various countries to pursue sustainable growth together.
Chairman Jung was reappointed in September last year as a board member representing the WFE Asia-Pacific region. His term lasts until 2026.

As a board member, Chairman Jung plans to contribute to setting global agendas for capital market development and promote the achievements of the K-Value-Up Program through meetings with representatives of major exchanges from countries such as Thailand and T?rkiye, while seeking cooperative projects among exchanges.
