Hapcheon-gun to Host 2024 Meong Stay Pet Culture Event
Fostering as Unique Theme Tourism Resources
Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 18th that it successfully held the ‘2024 Hapcheon Meong Stay Pet Culture Event’ on the 16th and 17th in Pyeongguri, Ssangbaek-myeon.
This event was planned to promote both internally and externally six months after the opening of ‘Hapcheon Meong Stay’ in May.
The event featured programs with pet experts and various experience booths, receiving great responses not only from pet owners but also from general participants. In addition, the Hapcheon tourism promotion booth introduced major tourist attractions in the area, enhancing promotional effects.
The county proactively opened ‘Hapcheon Meong Stay’ in line with the era of 13 million pet owners and plans to actively seek ways to revitalize the local economy through linkage with major tourist sites in the future.
Meanwhile, the unmanned cafe within Hapcheon Meong Stay added a multi-vending machine that provides pet supplies, canned drinks, cup noodles, bagged noodles, and instant rice in addition to the existing coffee vending machine, receiving positive responses from event visitors.
