About 40 members participated in the event and made 2,000 kg (200 boxes) of kimchi. The kimchi was delivered to over 70 local children's centers in Cheongju, Cheongju Social Welfare Center, Life School, and Cheongju Haeoreum Village, where single-parent families reside.
SK Kyphaoundry labor and management stated that they have been consistently engaged in social contribution activities throughout the year. After signing a business agreement with the Korea Industrial Health Association Hanmaeum Blood Center to practice 'Sharing Happiness through Blood Donation Management' for stable blood supply to patients in need of transfusions, they held the 'Love Sharing Blood Donation' event three times a year. 300 members participated in the blood donation volunteer work. The blood donation certificates were donated to the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation Central Branch.
At the end of last year, SK Kyphaoundry members and Beautiful Store held an in-house bazaar for donated items. Through the donation of the proceeds, they delivered about 40 boxes of daily necessities, tissue paper, rice, and more to approximately 240 households of elderly living alone in Cheongju. They plan to hold another in-house bazaar next month and donate the proceeds as well.
