This Year's 17th Event... Record Participation with 35 CEOs
The American Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AMCHAM) announced on the 13th that it successfully held the 'AMCHAM CEO Service Night' event on the 12th at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul.
This is an annual scholarship fundraising event hosted by AMCHAM's affiliated charity foundation, the Future Partners Foundation. It is a gathering where leaders of the domestic global business community come together to donate in support of scholarships for university students.
Marking its 17th year, this event saw a record attendance of 35 CEOs and executives. They hosted dinner and wine for 430 attendees.
With the support of AMCHAM member companies and others, this year’s fundraising exceeded last year’s 100 million KRW, raising approximately 120 million KRW. All proceeds will be used as scholarships for university students through the foundation.
James Kim, Chairman and CEO of AMCHAM, said, "We will provide funds as scholarships so that students facing difficult circumstances can achieve their dreams," adding, "We will help them overcome financial hardships and move forward toward their aspirations."
