Trump Appoints William Joseph McGinley as White House Counsel
President-elect of the United States Donald Trump has chosen William Joseph McGinley, former White House Cabinet Secretary, as White House Counsel.
On the 12th (local time), Trump announced through the social networking service (SNS) Truth Social, "William is a smart and tough lawyer who will help fight against the weaponization of election integrity and the judicial system, and advance our 'America First' agenda."

McGinley served as White House Cabinet Secretary during Trump's first administration. He also has experience as an external advisor on election integrity for the Republican National Committee (RNC) and as legal counsel for the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC).
