At the ‘2024 Gyeongsangbuk-do Farmers' Day Commemoration Event’ held on the 11th at the Dongrak Hall of Gyeongbuk Provincial Office, Im Hye-sook (39 years old, Yeongju-si) received the Gyeongsangbuk-do Farmers' Award (Young Farmer category).
Young female farmer Im Hye-sook is a leading agriculturalist with a fresh perspective who has realized the 6th industrialization, from primary industry ginseng cultivation to processing and experiential tourism.
She was recognized for her significant contributions to establishing education for prospective young farmers, building sustainable agricultural models, and maximizing the added value of agriculture.
