Gangnam-gu Partners with Bainer to Host 'Senior Health Dance Competition'

View original imageGangnam-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong) signed a business agreement with footwear company Vainer (CEO Kim Won-gil) on the 7th and will hold the "Senior Health Dance Competition" at Ilwon Eco Park from 2 to 4 p.m. on the 12th.
The "Health Dance Competition," sponsored by Vainer, was planned to encourage physical activities that help seniors maintain their health and fitness. A total of 15 teams with about 150 participants will compete, and including the cheering squad, around 400 people will join.
Prizes of 1,000,000 KRW, 500,000 KRW, and 300,000 KRW will be awarded to the first through third places respectively, and each participating team will receive 100,000 KRW. Refreshments will be prepared for the contestants, and souvenirs will be provided to all seniors.
Additionally, on the 13th, Vainer will donate 180 health chairs to senior welfare facilities such as local senior centers. These specially designed health chairs by Vainer are intended to encourage seniors to move their hands and feet more to strengthen their muscles.
Vainer is a footwear company established in 1994. CEO Kim Won-gil has gained attention for comfort shoes and has continued various social contribution activities for the health of the elderly. Through this agreement, Gangnam-gu and Vainer have agreed to provide customized support for the active lives of seniors.

District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong stated, "I hope this health dance competition will be a valuable time for seniors to actively move their bodies and recognize the importance of health," and added, "We will continue to strengthen ESG administration that improves the quality of life for residents by cooperating with socially responsible companies like Vainer."
