Jeong Ju-young Startup Competition Demo Day 2024
Asan Nanum Foundation announced that it held the demo day for the Jeong Ju-young Startup Competition (Jeongchangkyung), a gateway for domestic startups, on the 7th at the COEX Auditorium in Seoul.
Marking its 13th year, Jeongchangkyung was joined by a total of 30 startups. Ten early-stage startups in the "Growth Track" and 20 prospective startup teams in the "Challenge Track" underwent business execution stages and an accelerating program over the past five months. Subsequently, six teams from each track were finally selected through the final judging round.

View original imageAt the demo day held on the 7th, Seo Jung-jin, Chairman of Celltrion, delivered a keynote speech conveying the message, "Do not easily give up or fear failure during the startup process, but keep challenging continuously."
Following this, a total of 12 finalist teams took the stage to present for business investment attraction and promotion, competing fiercely. At this demo day, which offered a total prize money of 240 million KRW, "Big Mobility," operating the cargo truck parking platform "Truck Helper" (Growth Track), and "Hummingbirds," operating the in-house communication culture solution "Agigorae" (Challenge Track), each won the grand prize.
Additionally, in the Growth Track, the grand prize went to "LeMong," the excellence awards to "InBlog" and "Mile Corporation," and the encouragement awards to "MFM" and "Pnasier." In the Challenge Track, the grand prize was awarded to "Zolve," the excellence awards to "Soul Art" and "Care Minder," and the encouragement awards to "Slice Mind" and "Toasters." Furthermore, the "Pay It Forward" special award was given to the Big Mobility team for actively sharing their experiences and know-how during the business execution period, and the popularity award was additionally given to the Care Minder team, which received the most votes in both on-site and online pre-voting.
