Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 7th that it actively promoted the investment attractiveness of Gyeonggi Yangju Technovalley and Eunnam General Industrial Complex by participating in the ‘Gyeonggi Northern Region City and County Joint Investment Briefing’ held at the Seoul Grand Hill Convention.

View original imageThe event, hosted by Gyeonggi Province, was attended by 12 cities and counties in the northern region of Gyeonggi, and Lee Chang-yeol, head of the Self-Sufficient City Division of Yangju City, personally emphasized the city’s locational advantages and future growth potential, explaining that it is the optimal investment destination for companies.
In particular, Lee Chang-yeol highlighted Yangju City’s locational benefits and excellent accessibility to the metropolitan area. He explained that the outstanding transportation infrastructure, including the GTX-C line, along with well-established road networks such as the Metropolitan Area 1st and 2nd Ring Expressways and the Seoul-Yangju Expressway, supports the smooth movement of human and material resources, serving as an important foundation to enhance operational efficiency for businesses.
He also emphasized that the young and vibrant population structure, high birth rate, and rapid population growth trend are additional attractions of Yangju City, providing a favorable environment for securing the workforce needed by companies. He added that this contributes to the region’s high growth potential and the presence of infrastructure that can continuously add vitality.
The Gyeonggi Yangju Technovalley and Eunnam General Industrial Complex, currently being developed by the city, are becoming centers for advanced industries and diverse manufacturing sectors, respectively. Gyeonggi Yangju Technovalley is an advanced industrial hub equipped with a smart technology and R&D-focused environment, while Eunnam General Industrial Complex attracts various industries such as electronic components, metal processing, and machinery manufacturing, and boasts a transportation network that allows rapid access to major economic zones in the metropolitan area.
