Goyang City Operates 'Winter, Birds Fly' Program with Migratory Birds
Operation of Winter Migratory Bird Observation and Nadeullaon Exploration at Janghang Wetland
Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 7th that it will hold the program "Winter, Birds Fly" from the 22nd to December 21st, allowing participants to experience the beauty and ecological value of winter.
This program is a special program at the DMZ Peace Road Rest Area focusing on migratory birds, operated every Friday and Saturday. It was designed to provide an opportunity to understand the ecology of winter migratory birds and to reflect on the value of peace through communion with nature.
Participants will observe winter migratory birds visiting the Janghang Wetland at the Janghang Wetland Birdwatching Team, engage in bird feeding activities, and take time to reflect on the historical significance and ecological importance of the DMZ border area through walking along the barbed wire path and exploring the DMZ Peace Road Rest Area (Nadeullaon).
