The main educational social contribution activities for the second half of 2024, "Visiting Empathy Education" and "Talk Concert with Hyundai Steel," organized by Dangjin Steelworks, will conclude on the 7th and 11th, respectively.
The "Visiting Empathy Education" is an initiative promoted as part of the priority support project for educational welfare.
This educational activity, led by Dangjin Steelworks in cooperation with Dangjin Office of Education and Dangjin Welfare Foundation, has been running for three years from 2023 to 2025.
For these activities, Dangjin Steelworks provides 20 million KRW annually, totaling 60 million KRW over three years, to support the necessary resources for education.
Empathy Education is organized around five main topics aimed at creating a safe school environment for local students, including school violence, smoking, and respect for life.
The program is conducted by visiting schools directly and operating hands-on booths where students can participate in various experiences. Students who complete the activities at the booths are provided with refreshments and stationery.
