Junggi Business Community "Trump Expected to Lay Foundation for Expanding Bilateral Cooperation"
The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (Kbiz) stated on the 7th, "We sincerely congratulate Donald Trump on his election as the 47th President of the United States."
Kbiz explained, "Over the past 71 years, the two countries have cooperated comprehensively in security, technology, and supply chain sectors based on a strong Korea-US alliance. As a result, the United States has become South Korea's second-largest export market, and South Korea has emerged as the largest investor in the United States."
They added, "In particular, amid growing global economic uncertainties due to recent global supply chain restructuring and advanced science and technology competition, we hope that the newly inaugurated Donald Trump administration will elevate the bilateral alliance to a higher level and establish a foundation to expand mutually beneficial cooperation."
