Changnyeong-gun Disabled Comprehensive Welfare Center Hosts '2024 Nanum Resident Festival'
A Festival Where People with and without Disabilities Come Together
Gyeongnam Changnyeong-gun Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled announced on the 6th that it held the '2024 Sharing Residents Festival' on the 5th at the annex of the Changnyeong-gun Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled, with the participation of over 800 disabled people and local residents.
At the event, nine related organizations within Changnyeong-gun participated, providing various experience booths and food booths, creating a space for disabled people and local residents to communicate and enjoy together.

The event began with an opening performance by the Changnyeong Samulnori group ‘Ssun’, followed by performances that added joy, including the Changnyeong Girls' Middle and High School Affiliated Kindergarten Choir, which won gold and silver prizes at the ‘2024 Singing Contest with Santokki and Ttaogi’, the Nanta club ‘Dudrak’, and the ‘Changnyeong Saxophone Art Group’.
In addition, Nexen Tire Changnyeong Plant sponsored goods worth about 1 million won, including heated mats and microwaves, and Changnyeong Livestock Agricultural Cooperative sponsored beef worth about 500,000 won for soup, enriching the event through voluntary participation from various sectors of the community.
