This forum, under the theme "A New World, Enjoying Culture Digitally," is designed as a platform for experts and the public to discuss innovative approaches and ways of cultural enjoyment in the fields of culture, sports, and tourism using digital technology, especially AI.
The first part will feature the awards ceremony for the "Cultural Digital Innovation and Data Utilization Contest" and a keynote speech.
From May 8 to July 15, the contest attracted participation from about 260 teams. After two rounds of judging, a total of 23 teams were selected (5 grand prizes, 9 excellence awards, and 9 encouragement awards). Among them, the 5 grand prize teams will receive awards from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Following the awards ceremony, a keynote speech will be delivered by author Song Gil-young, titled "Era Forecast: Nomination Society." Song will lecture on cultural enjoyment in the new personal era, providing insights into the changing society and human mind based on data, under the theme "Communication between Culture and Data Technology in the AI Era."
The second part will feature expert discussions in three fields: law and systems, sports and tourism, and arts and content.
Measures to address distortions related to Korea occurring in generative AI will be explored. Support methods for electronic forensics using large language models to protect copyrights will also be discussed.
Additionally, cases of AI technology business and research applications in the sports sector, digital services in tourism, and domestic and international digital and AI trends will be reviewed. Changes in each industry based on AI will also be predicted.
The flow of artistic creation and enjoyment in the generative AI era will be examined, along with an outlook on the current status and future of the content industry in the AI era.
