HMM Delivers Winter Clothing and Relief Supplies to Syrian Refugees
Nepa Donated Winter Clothing Internationally Transported to Jordan
HMM delivered winter clothing and other relief supplies to Syrian refugees and vulnerable groups in Jordan.
On the 6th, HMM announced that it held a transportation handover ceremony for relief supplies for Jordanian refugees the day before at the Nepa Logistics Center in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province.
This international relief activity is being carried out in collaboration with the domestic human rights-focused NGO Human Asia, planning to provide winter clothing and other items to Syrian refugees and vulnerable groups in Jordan.
HMM supports all aspects of transportation, including maritime shipping, customs clearance, and inland transportation, while the clothing company Nepa has pledged to donate winter clothing worth 1.7 billion KRW. The relief supplies will be delivered to households within the Azraq refugee camp in Jordan through cooperation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
Since 2021, during the global logistics crisis caused by COVID-19, when securing shipping space was difficult, HMM has continued to support transportation for international relief activities of domestic NGOs that were significantly constrained.
