Pocheon-si Sinbuk-myeon Opens 'Inmun Nuri Cafe' Inside Sports and Culture Center

View original imageThe Resident Autonomy Committee of Sinbuk-myeon, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 4th that it opened a new cultural space for residents called the 'Inmun Nuri Cafe' within the Sinbuk-myeon Sports and Culture Center on the 2nd.
The Inmun Nuri Cafe was established to help residents visiting the Sports and Culture Center easily participate in cultural activities and to provide opportunities for residents to cultivate their humanities knowledge.
The cafe is equipped with humanities books and materials, aiming to be an open cultural space where residents can communicate with each other and discuss humanities-related topics.
Park Young-do, chairman of the Sinbuk-myeon Resident Autonomy Committee, said, "I hope the Inmun Nuri Cafe will activate communication among residents and serve as an opportunity to further develop the local community."

Baek Young-hyun, mayor of Pocheon-si, stated, "I expect the Inmun Nuri Cafe to meet citizens' cultural demands and establish itself as a place for communication and cultural activities," adding, "We will continue to promote policies to create a refined humanities city."
